Iwan Ries & Co.

Iwan Ries is one of the oldest tobacco shops in Chicago. Founded in 1857, it has been passed down from generation to generation and the lounge resides in one of the only buildings to survive the Chicago Fire. Iwan Ries has a smoke shop, a lounge, and is right in the heart of downtown. It’s easily accessible by public transportation and close to several hotels if you’re visiting.

The lounge is BYOB, has free wifi, and TVs. A $15 day pass is required to smoke in the lounge; however, it’ll give you a chance to smoke in a historical and luxurious room. Iwan Ries sells cigars, pipes, accessories, and some great pipe tobacco, including their famous mix “Three Star Blue”.
